August is a Grand Rapids based Soul-Pop group known for their tight harmonies, honest lyrics, face-melting guitar solos, and pocket grooves.

Eric Slingo, born and raised in Chicago’s began writing songs in college. As a mechanical engineering student, his desire to learn quickly shifted from his studies to songwriting. He grew up listening to everything from Motown to Rock, and after graduating in 2017, he made the move to Nashville where he’s currently developing his craft and touring alongside a variety of different artists.
